Another very quiet few days saw the beautiful weather continuing. The highlights of the 18th included five
Skylarks around the coast, a
Whimbrel on the south end, two
Little Owls on Pencristin and the
Firecrest at Nant. Singles of
Sparrowhawk,
Little Owl,
Skylark,
Redwing and
Linnet were seen around the North end and mountainside on the morning of the 19th, whilst 11
Goldcrests were seen from Nant to Cristin.
Two pairs of Little Owls are currently breeding on Bardsey- one above Plas and one on Pencristin. Both of these pairs were seen in the last few days

Wrens are currently making up the bulk of the morning bird chorus, with over 50 seen this morning
