The weather was very changing, in the early morning there was dense fog, for the majority of the day there was a cool breeze with bright sunshine, which gave way to heavy hail showers in the late afternoon and evening.

An incoming hail shower that persisted through the night!

A walk up to the plantation produced four Blackcaps, and 15 Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers respectively. Stonechats continue to sing around Ty Pellaf, and are quite abundant in North West Fields, with up to six being recorded. During a thirty minute, late morning seawatch one Manx Shearwater was seen at close range, other birds seen include: 27 Kittiwakes, 7 Razorbills, 7 Guillemots, six Gannets and seven Shags.
