It was incredibly wet and windy in the morning with gusts up to 40mph from the south-west. A walk down to the Narrows in the morning yielded a Sanderling and two Dunlins.
Later in the morning and the early afternoon, a walk along the West Coast produced a Golden Plover which brought the day total to three, after another two were seen on the South End. The highlight of the day was a huge feeding flock off the south end, which contained roughly 1000 Gannets, 5000 Kittiwakes, 1500 Razorbills, three Balearic Shearwaters and a Sabine's Gull, the second of the year.
Down in the Withies, a Barn Owl was flushed from the trees, and a Redwing was seen near the farm. A (the) Bar-tailed Godwit was again seen on the Narrows in the afternoon.
