A change in the weather resulted in a biting northerly wind which even resulted in a short snow shower late morning!

A probable Lapland Bunting was heard over the South End along with a Merlin, 54 Purple Sandpipers and a White Wagtail were around Solfach and a Whimbrel went along the West Coast.

Other birds seen today included seven Gannets, five Puffins, 53 Turnstone, eight Redshank, five Snipe, a Chiffchaff, a Blackcap and nine Wheatears.

A visit to Solfach at low tide resulted in a range of marine life including three Worm Pipefish, one Common Blenny and at least six different species of crabs!
