The good weather continued for most of the day, until sea fog rolled in and smothered the Island this afternoon. A small fall of Phylloscs started off the day, as 26 Willow Warblers and 24 Chiffchaffs were seen. A House Martin and a Black-headed Gull were two new species for the Island's year list, bringing up the current total to 84. The bird highlights of the day were 3 Fieldfares that flew past Cristin, a flock of 12 Rooks over the Narrows, a Black Redstart at Ty Pellaf and seven Snipe were flushed in the Wetlands.

Ringing in the garden at Cristin today was fairly fruitful, as six Willow Warblers, five Chiffchaffs, five Blackcaps, one Blue Tit, one Goldfinch, one Wren. Three species were retrapped, including a Dunnock, a Wren and a Goldcrest.
