The day started with strong southerlies that dropped off later in the afternoon, which made for a good day for waders with six Ringed Plovers (four of which appeared to be of the psammodroma race), two Sanderlings, 21 Purple Sandpipers, 10 Dunlins, four Common Sandpipers, eight Turnstones, and four Whimbrels

However, the highlight of the day came in the form of a female Emperor Moth found by Libby on heather on the mountain above Nant! This was the first Island record!

Other migrant species sighted today included a Feral Pigeon, 16 Swallows, four House Martins, 14 Wheatears, two Grasshopper Warblers, five Sedge Warblers, six Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff, and four Willow Warblers.
