Migration action was fairly slow again, aside from a good mix of returning waders. On the Narrows and Carreg yr Honwy, there was a Whimbrel, two Curlews, four Redshanks, seven Turnstones, and seven Common Sandpipers. Two Black-headed Gulls were seen making their way south from Solfach.
The final few breeding bird species maps were completed as most of the day was spent data inputting and report writing, to make the most of this quiet time of year before migration starts hotting up in August!
