The majority of the day was spent seawatching predominantly off the South End which proved rather successful with a total of 142 Arctic Terns, six Common Terns, 145 'Commic' Terns, three Storm Petrels, 1499 Manx Shearwaters, five Guillemots, 42 Razorbills, 781 Kittiwakes, a Sanderling, two Bar-tailed Godwits, seven Whimbrels, three Arctic Skuas, 36 Shags and 122 Gannets moving south.

Birds were thin on the ground elsewhere, all seemingly sheltering from the winds however, four Purple Sandpipers, two Dunlins and a Collared Dove were logged. However, the highlight of the day came during an evening walk to look for two missing students which resulted in a Nightjar being seen flying low over the track outside Carrag Bach before hunting the mountainside for less than a minute before it was lost up the mountain! This became only the 24th record for Bardsey! (The students were quickly found safe).
