Today started in the early hours with an attempt at catching Storm Petrels at the North End in rather bright moon conditions. Overall, it wasn't a complete failure with a single bird caught alongside a few Manx Shearwaters, an Oystercatcher and two Meadow Pipits.

In was a rather quiet if calm day with a Marsh Harrier over the Narrows, a Common Sandpiper in Solfach, a Reed Warbler at Nant and a total of 18 Goldcrests. Yesterday's Pied and Spotted Flycatchers remained at Nant and in the Withies respectively.
During the afternoon, the portable Heligoland was put out for the first time this year and successfully caught two Rock Pipits and two Meadow Pipits.
