Another day of calm and clear weather, gentle easterly winds swept across the island throughout the morning and night before.

Butterflies were in larger numbers with Green-veined Whites, Small Whites, Small Tortoiseshells and Peacocks recorded around Cristin.

Finches and Blackcaps have been moving through Bardsey, over 15 of each were captured in the Observatory garden and many more were around.

Other birds around include: eight Wheatears, six Blackbirds, two Stonechats, 61 Meadow Pipits, 12 Swallows, two Sand Martins, one Curlew, one Snipe, two Peregrines, one Grey Heron, 17 Linnets, eight Goldfinches and one Siskin.
