Strong winds with some rain made for a rather miserable day on Bardsey. A build up of large Gull in Solfach brought in a 2nd year Mediterranean Gull along with six White Wagtails still on the beach. Six Sand Martins and five Swallows went north through the South End. Warblers were in short supply due to the wind with six Chiffchaffs the only recorded.

During the evening, another attempt at lamping was rather successful with a smart adult Common Sandpiper being caught alongside a Ringed Plover, Wheatear and Meadow Pipit originally ringed last autumn.
