The nets were opened at Nant in the morning however, ringing was quiet with seven Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap caught. The only bird on note today was a Grasshopper Warbler in the North End Gorse. A small arrival of hirundines saw two House Martins, four Swallows and two Sand Martins logged.

The afternoon was spent monitoring the Choughs around the northern parts of the Island; with birds already busy nest building. Choughs were not the only birds busy preparing for the breeding season, with Gulls and Shags also collecting nesting material and Auks, Kittiwakes and Fulmar marking their territories.
