The winds turned to north-easterlies with clear skies. A Merlin was on the South End, a Spotted Flycatcher was in the Withies, a Buzzard and Hooded Crow went over and three Collared Doves were all seen today.

Also seen today included a Curlew, a Whimbrel, 47 Swallows, two White Wagtails, a Grasshopper Warbler, seven Sedge Warblers, eight Whitethroats, six Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff, a Siskin and 13 Lesser Redpolls
