A quiet day on the island with a Reed Warbler in Cristin Withy the only bird of note alongside four Dunlins and two Curlews. In the afternoon a further three Chough chicks were ringed making it a total of nine for the year. We have a total of seven pairs of Chough this year however, unfortunately three have failed but we still have four successful pairs.   

We also did more monitoring and ringing of auks especially Razorbill chicks around the East Side with many now hatching.

There is always a Great Black-backed Gull prowling around looking an unguarded chick or egg
